The Pokémon Go smartphone game has taken the world by storm with millions around the world playing it daily. Now, Syrian children in war-torn Syria have been pictured holding up pictures of Pokémon characters to highlight their plight.
The photos distributed by The Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office include the following message written on them:
“I’m in KaferNabol in Idlib, come to save me”
While the world goes crazy over Pokémon Go, let’s spare a thought for these innocent children who have witnessed the horrors of war.
