The attacks in Paris on Friday in which hundreds of French civilians were killed and injured in separate attacks around the French capital have caused outrage around the world. The French president, Francois Hollande has blamed the so called Islamic State for the attack.
Many have taken to Twitter to blame Muslims for the attacks claiming all Muslims are terrorists.
However, many others with a bit more common sense are taking to Twitter to explain that not all Muslims are to blame. Here are some of the tweets:
Many simply pointed out how ignorant it was to blame all Muslims:

How stupid do you have to be to think ALL Muslims are terrorists?!?!?

Whilst others pointed out that when a member of another group commits a crime, the whole group is not blamed:
a human being is a human being a Muslim is a Muslim but not all Muslims are extremist …. extremists are found in every faith — rob burdack (@robburdack) November 14, 2015
blaming all muslims for ISIS is like blaming all catholics for the IRA — Jon Gibson (@Happyfishies) November 14, 2015
if a Christian killed 60 people u wouldnt blame all Christians u’d blame that one person so why do u blame all Muslims n spread islamophobia
— natalia (@PlutoNatalia) November 14, 2015
I wish people would understand not all blacks are criminals, not all Muslims are terrorist, not all whites are racist, etc list goes on — Zach Britton (@bigbritt_65) November 14, 2015
Some tweeted saying Muslims should not have to apologise:
This tweet just silenced all the haters:
If all muslims were terrorists, and there are about 2 billion muslims in the world, then why are YOU still alive?

Correction: The above person is a Muslim
Let’s pray that there is peace all around the world and something like this doesn’t happen again.
