Friday Prayers are Held Outside England’s Houses of Parliament

The Muslim Climate Action group held historic Friday prayers at the Parliament Square today to raise awareness about climate change. Before the prayers, Imam Abdullah Hasan delivered a sermon speaking about how it is an Islamic duty to care about the environment. He cited verses from the Qur’an and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to support his message.
