Muslim ‘Superheroes’ Distribute Eid Gifts to Children’s Hospitals

These awesome Muslims dressed in superhero costumes delivered Eid gifts to children affected by illness to three children’s hospitals in England. Namely the St Oswald’s Hospice in Newcastle, Sunderland Royal Hospital and James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

It was the third year in which volunteers from the Islamic Diversity Centre visited hospitals to surprise children with Eid gifts.

Project Manager Abu Tayep told ITV News:

These kids are going through an extremely tough time. We want to bring a smile to their faces, and show their parents that we care. Eid is a day of celebration, and we want these kids to share in the happiness, whatever background they come from.
