Russian Muslim MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has refused to fight in the holy month of Ramadan. Speaking to mma.pl, he explains how Muslims go without food or drink for 16 hours and that he priorities fasting over taking part in competitions. He says the holy month means everything to him:

Ramadan, this is everything for me, I don’t think about fight…I believe in One God…Religion for me is number one.
