Around two thousand people attended Eid Prayers at Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park stadium making it the first time Eid prayers were held at a pitch of an English football club.

The prayer was led by Imam Wasim Kempson who said, “We are very grateful for Blackburn Rovers to open their doors, literally, for us to pray on the pitch”
